An Amazing Fact: Today, Hispanics are the largest and fastest-growing minority group in the USA! A full half of America’s population increase is due to Hispanics! This is a golden opportunity to evangelize a ripe mission field. Let me show you what I mean. But first, let me tell you some wonderful news from our recent revival series in Colombia…

Our “protestant” evangelistic series in Colombia was a smashing success, especially when you consider we were holding the services at a Catholic convent and school!

We saw the power of God on display in many ways … and I believe our meetings and the new programs we created will spark an ongoing movement of revival by proclaiming the truth of God’s Word!

Miraculously, a few years back, a wealthy gentleman who owns a Colombian soccer team helped the Sisters of Charity convent build a new auditorium. Later this man accepted the last-day message, and when our meetings came to town he recommended to the nuns that they allow us to use their building on the beautiful grounds of their convent. The nuns were very gracious.

And remarkably, a Mother Superior from a different convent with more than a hundred nuns under her traveled five hours a day round trip to attend our meetings. She said she had never heard such wonderful things before and has accepted the Sabbath and the truth about idolatry. Pray for her — she was crying and afraid of how others would respond to her new beliefs.

 
As you know, any time the truth is proclaimed, the enemy strikes back. And we certainly saw that. The day before the meetings began, we had to find a new translator. We prayed — and just before the meetings began, someone flew in from Miami and did a masterful job translating the messages into Spanish.

Additionally, within moments of going on the air, the satellite was not working — but once again we prayed, and just when the program began, everything worked perfectly!

The auditorium where we conducted our meetings had a metal roof, and when it rained it caused a deafening roar. This would have rendered our live broadcasts impossible. But we prayed and even though it rained several times while we were there, the rain always stopped before or started after our program!

God is great! He will not allow His work to be hindered or defeated. Each night I preached with confidence that God was working, and we were so blessed to see the miraculous results. Locally, more than 220 people were baptized — and even more baptisms are following.

The most exciting part of this series was the live international broadcast on 3ABN Latino, Esperanza, and ADvenirTV. We have already heard testimonies from almost every country in Central and South America from people who saw one or more of the broadcasts. You can even view them now at www.laverdadrevelada.com.

And if you will help, this evangelistic series can live on and multiply for years to come … touching lives and transforming hearts through the power of the gospel. But there is much more we need to do to maximize the effect of these meetings.

First, we must immediately edit the master tapes from this series and prepare them for greater distribution to the Spanish-speaking world, not only in Latin America, but also here in the United States. Our plan is to broadcast these meetings in a television series that will reach the growing Spanish-speaking world again and again.

We also want to create a DVD set that Spanish-speaking pastors can use in public evangelism. Your gift will help us reach this rapidly growing group in their native language and provide them with training and materials to help disciple new believers.

With this amazing evangelistic series, God has given us a wonderful opportunity with open doors to the Spanish-speaking world. We can reach masses of people who have been hidden from the truths of God’s Word.
