I’m deeply concerned that the hearts of God’s people might be losing their ardent love for the lost. Jesus said that in the end times that “the love of many will grow cold” (Matthew 24:12). He also said, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few” (Luke 10:2).

This couldn’t be a more tragic combination of problems for Christ’s church to deal with now — especially as all the signs show that the world is hurtling toward Judgment Day. Why are God’s people finding less and less time for reaching those who have yet to hear the three angels’ messages? The fact is ... the new cold war is the cooling off our hearts for the work of the gospel.

Of course, Amazing Facts is doing everything we can to “keep the fires burning” with a passion to reach the world for Christ. Together, you and I are called to expand our proclamation of the everlasting gospel to obtain something much more precious than oil — winning the souls of people all around the world.

After all, Jesus told us to go into all the world and make disciples. This means more than just preach; it also means to train. But let me be perfectly honest. If we are planning on waiting for pastors to finish the work, Jesus will never come! I don’t write this to be critical; I am a pastor! But the scope of the work is too large for just pastors. The world population is now growing by more than one million people per week! How can we outpace that growth?

Well, the way that Jesus reached the world in the first century was by training ordinary laymen to share their faith. Then the Holy Spirit was poured out, and the church erupted with exponential growth. This is what we need in the last days — an epidemic of good news!

The apostle Paul said, “Having hope, that as your faith is increased, we shall be greatly enlarged by you in our sphere, to preach the gospel in the regions beyond you” (2 Corinthians 10:15–17, emphasis added).

Following His Lead
That’s why Amazing Facts is expanding our territory — planting the “flag” of truth in new countries with multiple branches of our AFCOE “school of the prophets” program and keeping the fires burning hot for evangelism! Like Paul, we have set our sights on the “regions beyond” our current territory — to those areas of the world where the gospel is yet to be proclaimed.

With your partnership, Amazing Facts is stepping out in faith and accepting the challenge. In fact, we have active workers in Sweden, South Africa, India, and even China —— not only sharing the truth about Jesus, but also training His people in those nations to reach others!

Here’s how we are doing it!

• Expanding the global radio, TV, and internet broadcast of Amazing Facts programs in more new regions and major languages.
• Planting Centers of Evangelism in strategic locations around the world. The goal for 2008 is to launch full-time centers in India and the Ukraine! Church leaders in the Ukraine have pled with Amazing Facts to help them set up a new Center for Evangelism in their country.

Could you ever imagine that we’d be reaching people in the Ukraine — a place where the former Soviet Union tried to stamp out Bibles and every remnant of Christianity!?

These Centers of Evangelism will offer a real solution to a growing concern: the lack of trained pastors and Bible workers in countries that are ripe for the gospel right now. Everything we’ve learned and developed at AFCOE will be carefully tailored and applied to these new overseas centers. The programs and training will be translated, uploaded, printed, and sent out to teachers on the ground in Africa, Latin America, Europe, and Asia.

Imagine …

• Streams of new programming raining down on countries that have never had access to the gospel!
• Thousands of Indian families committing their lives to Christ, then receiving training to share their faith with their community.
• Ukrainian and Russian college students trained to share the message of Jesus Christ on their secular campuses!
