Hunted by the World
I don’t need to tell you that our children today are in GRAVE DANGER. They aren’t just being targeted by the world; they are being hunted down! In the name of consumerism, our children are exposed to endless blaring appeals for their attention — corporations desperate to capture one more young customer, one more slave to materialism.
While we are praying for our children, the devil is preying on them — assaulting them from every angle — telling them what they should think, say, eat, wear, buy, and do. As they watch TV, surf the internet, or play video games, they are constantly exposed to messages of violence, pornography, alcohol, drug use, and blatant sexual immorality.
And sadly, what they should be filling their minds with — all that is true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and of good report (Philippians 4:8 NKJV) — is rarely what they see.
The fact is that we live in a world that doesn’t care much about the things of God. Even with all our information technology, children today know less about Jesus and their Bibles than at any other time in the history of our country. Like children lost in a burning house, they can’t see through the smoke to find a way out. They need someone to help them.
And right now … right where you are sitting … you can be a Cameron. You can slow down from your busy life to hear these faint cries for help. You can do something. You can make a difference.
Right now — you can help that one little boy or that one little girl find the truth and put the right things in their heart. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God” (Luke 18:16).
Our Duty as Believers
We have the responsibility to reach these kids (Ephesians 6:4). We have the duty to share the love of Jesus with each and every one of them and give them a firm biblical foundation.
It is our profound conviction at Amazing Facts that we must do more to reach out to our children with the gospel of Jesus Christ and the three angels’ messages. And that’s why, this coming September, we’re preparing for the new satellite evangelism program called Amazing Adventure — A Journey for Life with Jesus!
You might have noticed that I can’t stop talking about it! This will be our first ever live, nationwide satellite evangelism program JUST FOR KIDS! Our aim is to reach young people, ages 8–12, with a powerful life-changing program that introduces them to Jesus Christ, explores vital Bible truth, and launches them on a lifelong journey of faith.
Our goal is that thousands of children from both Christian and non-Christian homes will attend, hear the gospel, and make the ultimate decision, choosing to embark on the adventure of a lifetime — the adventure of following Jesus. But we can’t do this without you!
Tools to Guide Today's Youth
At a recent Christian meeting in Washington state, a young girl came up to me and shared that together with her mom, she’d seen our Final Events of Bible Prophecy documentary more than 100 times! Can you see why it is so important that Amazing Facts produces resources to reach children?
Today, we’re getting ready to print and distribute our new Bible study guides for kids! Each of these fascinating booklets focuses on a different Bible topic. Starting with a strong foundation in the Bible, the Bible guides then take kids from creation through the story of Adam’s fall and man’s need for salvation, the Christian life … and all the way to the second coming of Jesus and heaven.
The most wonderful thing about this series is once all the Amazing Adventure lessons are complete and the event recorded, this evangelistic program can be used to reach young hearts for years to come — for
Christian schools, VBS programs, Pathfinder groups, Sabbath school classes, and families. You can see why we’ve made this project a top priority for Amazing Facts this year!
Used for the Kingdom
Please don’t be afraid to enter the fiery world and SAVE THE CHILDREN! (Matthew 18:14).
You can help as we take a stand and work to influence our children’s lives for good, giving them the truth for which they are so desperately seeking. You can even be the answer to a lost child’s life. You can really make that big of a difference.
