This fall, Amazing Facts is thrilled to present Amazing Adventure — a new live satellite evangelistic event for kids ages 8 to 12!

Did you know that the average child spends more than 2,000 hours in front of the television each year? They also watched more than 40,000 commercials and saw an estimated 10,000 acts of violence.

Also in these images, they were given thousands of sound-bites, both blatant and subliminal, about what they should think, say, eat, wear, buy, and do.

Pastor Doug says, “Our children are constantly being assailed by diabolical messages that are molding their characters and view of the world. And I’m convinced that God’s people are not doing nearly enough to help them resist these trends.”

Aimed at reaching our children with the gospel and ground them in God’s Word, Amazing Adventure will be enjoyable for both kids and parents. There will be exciting illustrations, interactive Bible questions, stirring music, and then a gospel message aimed at their hearts that is both intriguing and inspirational.

They will learn about young Bible heroes like David, Samuel, Daniel, Josiah, and others that will encourage today’s kids to stand up for God. And most important, we will highlight a strong personal relationship with the MOST amazing individual in the Bible — Jesus Christ.

Reaching the Young
The Bible has a lot to say about reaching children with the good news.“Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 19:14). It is our job to give our children a strong foundation in the Lord.

That’s why this year, our plan is to broadcast the one-week event with 3ABN on September 12 thru 20 — a great time for kids to invite their friends, both from school and their neighborhood, to a fun and interesting event that can help them get a strong spiritual start in the new school year.
