When Argentinian cardinal Jorge Bergoglio was introduced as the new pope, it should have sounded the alarm for Protestants the world over. It’s hard to comprehend the heart-rending sorrow Jesus will feel as He beholds the needlessly wasted lives of His rebellious children. So shouldn't we do our best today to help others redeem His gift of life before it’s too late for them?

No hope of eternal life—and no hope for meaning here on earth—without Christ …
