Building for Eternity: Breaking Ground

A refreshing midday breeze rolled over the 75-acre grassy hillside, greeting a joyful group of Amazing Facts staff eager to officially break ground for the new home of Amazing Facts’ headquarters—the World Outreach, Revival, and Discipleship Center, or W.OR.D. Center for short.

Enthusiasm and gratitude filled the air as Amazing Facts officers, including Doug Batchelor, president, donned orange vests and white hats and dug into the red earth, symbolically throwing the first shovelfuls of dirt. Construction crews will now begin preparing the ground to lay a strong foundation for the Building for Eternity project.

The ceremony was broadcast live on Facebook, and viewers celebrated the occasion with us, commenting from around the world. Ros said, “Watching from Australia. God bless the building of your new church.” And Lori added, “Praise the Lord! You will be a light on the hill!”

During the ceremony, Pastor Doug shared, “This is gratifying after more than a decade of prayers and hard work to be at the point of tangible construction. This new building will be a launchpad for reaching the world!” He also explained that while the land was purchased more than a decade ago, the building process had been bogged down by the state’s permit process. Now, through the faithful giving and prayers of dedicated believers like you, the final permits are in hand and the equipment is all here—we are ready to build!

The W.O.R.D. Center is being built on the solid foundation of God’s Word and will be a light to the local community and will spread truth around the world! As Amazing Facts moves forward in this venture, we are relying on God to continue to supply for all our needs.

While God has blessed with 75 percent of the funds raised for this project. We still need your support and prayers. If you would like to partner with us, you can find out more by clicking here.
