Women – A professional, clean and well-cared-for appearance should be maintained. Clothing is inappropriate when it is sleeveless, strapless, backless, or revealing; has slits above the knee; or is form fitting. Dresses and skirts must be knee length or longer and pants shall be avoided unless the work dictates it and permission is granted by HR through the supervisor. Shoes must be worn at all times. Sneakers and sandals (i.e., flip-flops) are inappropriate. Cosmetics should be minimal and should avoid extreme styles or colors, such as bright color lipstick and nail polish.
Men – A professional, clean, and well-cared-for appearance should be maintained. A collared full-buttoned dress shirt and dress pants must be worn during work hours. Shoes must be worn at all times for professional attire. Sneakers and flip-flops are inappropriate. Hair length is not to exceed shirt collar length and should be neatly groomed and of a natural color. Facial hair must be well groomed and look professional.
Shipping, Warehouse, Maintenance & IT Support Staff – Men and women working in these departments must maintain a clean and well-cared-for appearance, but unlike the office staff, may wear casual clothing. Clothing is inappropriate when it is sleeveless, strapless, backless, or revealing; has slits above the knee; or is form fitting. Jeans or denim pants in good repair are allowed and shirts must have a collar. NOTE: Creative and Broadcast Media personnel may, during times of production and the preparation thereof, wear casual attire.
Everyone – Jean and denim pants are not allowed (except shipping and maintenance or unless the work dictates). Hairstyles should be clean and neat, avoiding extremes in styles and colors. Jewelry, including wedding bands/rings, shall not be worn. Tattoos should be covered and not visible if possible.
