The Meaning of Life (Ida)

Scripture: John 3:16, Romans 8:28
Date: 01/05/2012
I was searching to fill my heart with things. Everyone has an empty space in their heart, I believe that is created by God. I tried to fill this empty space with the search for acceptance of friends, from friends, from doing good grades, from having the right material things like dressing, being the one.

I was searching to fill my heart with things. Everyone has an empty space in their heart, I believe that is created by God. I tried to fill this empty space with the search for acceptance of friends, from friends, from doing good grades, from having the right material things like dressing, being the one. I really love to go to church, but to me, it was more-- I loved it because my friends were there because it was a social place to be. When people quoted John 3:16, and when people told me about the love of Jesus, it was not a personal thing for me.

I could sense the tension between mom and dad. When I was around 12, they got a divorce. It was tough, everyone wants to have a family that is happy, that is connected, and that is well functioning. During those years when my mom and dad decided to get separated and finally get a divorce, the relationship with God was very important. What I can say is that it has made me stronger, and everything that is. In Romans 8:28, it says that those that love God, everything will work to the best. I think it's been helping me in some ways.

When I found the love of Jesus in the Bible, in His word, that was just the thing that filled my heart. I have never felt so much meaning, and so much life, and so much joy in life, and a purpose of life since I met Jesus. I know that he can do the same for you, and He is the meaning of life. Hi, I'm Ida. I reclaimed my faith.
