An
Amazing Fact: Covering
15 percent of the Earth’s surface, the South Pacific is home to 2.3 million
people across 20,000 islands. While many know these islands for their beauty,
few realize how many people there have never heard the full truth of God’s
Word.
Paia was
rushing through his living room when he overheard something on TV that stopped
him in his tracks.
I had just
asked, “Why do so many Christians keep Sunday as the Sabbath?”
Like Paia,
millions are rushing past the truth. But every now and then,
something makes them pause. That’s when the Holy Spirit moves—and that’s where
you come in.
Will you
help stop searching hearts in their tracks and turn them
toward Jesus?
A Divine
Interruption
Paia grew up
in the South Pacific and faithfully attended church on Sundays. His parents
were strict. Sunday was for Bible reading—no work, no play. But when his family
moved to New Zealand, he began exploring different churches.
One day, as
they walked to church, they passed a family working in their garden. Annoyed,
Paia and his parents muttered about these “Sabbath-breakers.” He
had no idea how much his own understanding of the Sabbath would change one day!
The
Channel That Wouldn’t Change
Years later,
as a father of two, Paia started watching Christian programs. He avoided Sabbath-keeping
channels—he thought they were a cult! Then one night, coming home from work, he
flipped on the TV to watch one of his favorite preachers.
The channel
was stuck on a Sabbath station. Guess who was speaking? Me. Guess
what I was preaching about? Yep! The Sabbath.
Annoyed, he
tried to change the channel. Nothing. He began to turn away but froze when I
asked: “Why do so many Christians go to church on Sunday?”
It was a
simple question. But it stopped him in his tracks.
Paia grabbed
his Bible and laptop, ready to disprove what I was saying.
Instead, the more he searched, the more the truth became clear.
That night,
he never made it to the shower. Instead, he spent hours watching
sermon after sermon.
When
churches temporarily closed during COVID lockdowns, he watched even more.
Eventually, he knew he had a choice: Sunday or the true Sabbath!
Paia and his
daughters chose the Sabbath. When they visited a Sabbath-keeping church, they
were welcomed with open arms. He knew he was home.
A Big
Opportunity in Vanuatu
Paia loves
God, just like thousands of others in the South Pacific. But he didn’t
realize something was missing until he learned about God’s
true day of rest. Many still don’t know. They follow traditions, believing they
are following Jesus (Mark 7:8).
That’s why
I’m about to take a missionary journey with Karen and our Amazing Facts team
to Vanuatu for an evangelistic series. At the same time, we’ll
be training hundreds of Chinese pastors in Malaysia and
leading revival meetings in Australia.
Will you
co-labor with us to stop searching hearts in their tracks and
bring them to Jesus? Your gift will provide:
1.
Evangelistic
meetings in Vanuatu
2.
Training
for persecuted Chinese pastors
3.
TV programs and
resources to spread Bible truth
4.
Revivals
in Australia
Whatever
you give, God will multiply the impact.
Your Gift
Will Change Lives
As a token
of my gratitude for your gift this month, I’d love to send you my new
message, “When Our Prayers Seem Unanswered.” In these last
days, we must remember that God always hears us. I pray this
message strengthens your faith—and that you’ll share it with someone else.
Also, when
you send your gift, please write your prayer requests on the
enclosed card. Our team prays over each one.
Paia is so
grateful for the truth he found—and he knows that many others still
need to hear it. Will you help the rushing multitudes stop in their
tracks by bringing God’s last-day message to the South
Pacific?
Give today—and let’s turn searching hearts toward Jesus!

P.S. Paia’s
life changed when he heard a single question about the Sabbath. How
many more like him are out there waiting to be reached? Your gift will
send Bible truth to thousands through evangelism, training, and media. Thank
you for caring!
