From Distressed Teen to Media Evangelist

Arsen had questions. “Why am I here? What’s my purpose in life?” Hoping to find answers, he turned to YouTube. “The turning point was when I stumbled upon Pastor Doug’s Millennium of Prophecy series,” he shares.

Seeking Answers

When his parents divorced, Arsen moved from Ukraine to the USA to live with his father. As a truck driver, his dad often left Arsen alone.

Troubled by sadness and loneliness, Arsen sought God for answers. But he wondered, “Why are there so many different beliefs and churches?” After praying for guidance, he discovered “The Richest Caveman,” a book by Doug Batchelor, whose own search for truth resonated deeply with Arsen.

Arsen began watching Pastor Doug on YouTube. “I was excited because I found logic and interpretations of Scripture that made perfect sense,” says Arsen. The Millennium of Prophecy series answered all his questions about the Sabbath, the commandments, and the truth about hell.

Excited About Jesus

Before long, Arsen committed his life to Jesus and was baptized into a Sabbath-keeping church. “I wanted to share those truths, to translate the Amazing Facts series into the language that the people where I come from understand, which is primarily Russian. So, I created my own YouTube channel.”

The response was incredible! Thousands of Ukrainians began finding answers to their questions through Pastor Doug’s sermons. “My desire is for the Ukrainian people to find God and come to the realization that there’s hope,” shares Arsen. “God can provide what they need!” He dreams of seeing all Amazing Facts content translated into Russian and Ukrainian.

Staying Plugged In

Arsen reports, “The translated sermons have accumulated five million views and counting.” Finding Amazing Facts radically redirected Arsen’s life. Today, he uses his media skills to assist several church ministries.

Says Arsen, “Giving my life to God was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I thank God and the Amazing Facts ministry!” And his talents have been multiplied as he worked for the Lord. Likewise, our blessings will increase as we partner with Jesus financially. Thank you for your faithful giving that helps others find the truth that sets us free!
