Rescued by Truth

No hole istoo deep for God to reach down and rescue us. No prayer is too big for God toanswer. The Lord longs for His despairing children to ask for BIG things, andyou are helping answer giant prayers through your caring gifts. Sin hascaused pain to throb in every human heart. All of us have had moments offeeling stuck—like being lost in a deep, dark spiritual cavern. But noteveryone has discovered the only One who can rescue us from darkness and sin.Jesus said, “In the world you will have tribulation; but be of goodcheer, I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

You might bethinking, “Pastor Doug, there are just too many people in the world toreach. How can we share Christ with billions who do not know Him?Impossible!” We need to focus on God’s unlimited strength, not ourweaknesses. Our heaven-sent requests should be full of bold faith. And wemust remember: “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantlyabove all that we ask or think” (Ephesians 3:20).
