Online Students to Effective Evangelists

Strict government regulations on travel and gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic prevented the Amazing Facts Indonesia team, which your gifts empower, from holding classes in person. They decided to use the time to create an online version of the evangelism training, unaware of how many people longed to attend in person but were unable due to obligations.

Hundreds of people have joined the program, including many from Malaysia. One couple that joined lived on the island of Batam, situated near Singapore. Enos and his wife, Ina, took their training very seriously, and the Lord poured His Spirit on them so they could be effective witnesses of Him. After finishing the IAFCOE program, they began to pray each day, “Lord, if you have called us to be Your witnesses, give us courage to spread the gospel. Amen.”

Enos began to boldly share his faith with a Muslim colleague named Agus. In time, Agus agreed to complete the Amazing Facts Study Guides with Enos and was baptized. That was only the beginning of what God would do through Enos and Ina in answer to your prayers.

This dedicated couple you trained traveled to a densely populated area and set up groups that met every Wednesday and Sunday. Enos and Ina went door-to-door, inviting people to attend the weekly Bible studies. But they didn’t stop there. They became deeply involved in people’s lives, transporting the sick to the hospital and even giving money to help those families who struggled to afford daily meals.

God blessed their consecrated efforts, and after a year of selfless work for the families in the care groups, 100 precious souls were ready for baptism into the church.

But Enos and Ina hadn’t stopped praying for courage to share their faith. So, they went to another area and established two more care groups. These meetings took place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and were specifically designed for new seekers. Another 100 people came to the Lord through this second set of care groups!
