Matthew was raised Catholic, but faith never held much meaning for him. After surgery as a young adult, he became addicted to opioids, and his life quickly unraveled, landing him in and out of jail for years. Then one day, while sitting in his cell, he stumbled across an Amazing Facts program on Pando—mistakenly thinking it was something from his childhood. What he saw transformed his life!

Christine – “Valued by God”
Christine grew up in a family of crime without moral guidance, ran away at 14, and was held captive against her will, where she endured abuse that led to pregnancy. After escaping, her abuser later kidnapped her young child, and she spiraled into hardship, drug addiction, and crime—until prison became her reality. There, the light of God’s Word reached her, miraculously bringing hope, healing, and a new beginning.
Charles – “An Unlikely Bible Worker”
Raised in his grandparents’ Christian home, Charles was baptized as a child but later drifted into crime and landed in federal prison. There, as his life was being changed by the truths he found in the Bible and Amazing Facts study guides, he started a study group behind bars. Now free, he leads a Bible study in a homeless shelter, where the light of God’s Word continues to transform lives.
