Claudia Finding True Love, Part 2
Read Time: 3 min

One day, while searching YouTube, Claudia—a broken and wounded young woman—found a seminar by Amazing Facts called The Prophecy Code. She watched every episode. After that, “I understood what life was all about,” she says. Then she watched more from Amazing Facts: Cosmic Conflict; The Final Events of Bible Prophecy; Revelation: The Bride, the Beast and Babylon. She drank in the information and began reading the Bible for the first time in her life.
Claudia then took another step in her search for truth. She went through all of the Amazing Facts Bible Study Guides and Storacles lessons and discovered God—not the distant, impersonal God of her childhood, but the true and personal God of the Bible. She was introduced to a God who loved her deeply and wanted to save her.
Her worldly dream relationship she always desired began to fade away. Claudia started to understand that healthy relationships are based on mutual love and respect. Furthermore, she learned of Christ’s sacrificial love for her, and it made her love Him in return.
“People do the things they do,” she reflects, “because they have this emptiness in their hearts that they cannot fill, and it’s because we don’t know God.” The desperation for someone to love her disappeared and was replaced by the knowledge that the God of the universe loved her. It changed her focus from seeking for love from others to thinking of ways that she could love and serve others just like Jesus served her. Now one of her greatest desires is to teach her daughter about what Jesus is doing to save her.
Today, Claudia belongs to a Sabbath-keeping church and regularly studies God’s Word. She finally found the relationship that will never come to an end— one that brings true, everlasting joy. “I’m definitely a much happier person,” she shares. “God gave me freedom over my sin, and I live in peace with Him because of that.”
Claudia desperately wanted to be loved and was eventually introduced to One who told her, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you” (Jeremiah 31:3).
Reflect: Wounded people often find themselves falling back into bad relationships. What can help a person avoid unhealthy friendships? The Bible is the first place to begin.
