Sister Muthoni Mighty Weapons, Part 2
Read Time: 2 min

Sister Muthoni was desperate to find help for her daughter who had turned from God and was worshiping the devil. Her daughter finally came home after contracting AIDS from her work as a prostitute, and now threatened to kill her mother. What could the distraught mother do?
Muthoni took her daughter to Pentecostal pastors for deliverance, but there was no change. Then she took her to the witch doctor. Again, no help. It seemed that death was the only option for her daughter. During this time, Muthoni stopped attending her Sabbath-keeping church.
Finally, her daughter left home and married a notorious gangster-criminal, leaving Muthoni in tears. The situation had gone from bad to worse and looked like it would never change.
It was after this sad saga, that Prophecies of HOPE by Amazing Facts evangelist Michael Wambua, began in Muthoni’s town in Kenya. The advertisements offering HOPE piqued her interest, and she decided to attend. The gospel of Christ spoke hope to her heart, and Muthoni decided to accept Christ anew and be re-baptized.
The day before her baptism Muthoni came to Michael and told him the sad story of her life, asking him to pray for her oldest daughter. Amazingly the next morning, Muthoni’s daughter showed up in church! During the sermon, she made a decision to accept Christ as her Savior too!
Muthoni was re-baptized that Sabbath, and her daughter is now looking forward to baptism in the future. Mother and daughter both experienced revival in their hearts! What a happy day that was for Muthoni. The deepest longing of this mother’s heart was finally satisfied by the power of God to free her daughter from the grip of Satan.
Reflect: Do you know someone who seems to be hopelessly enslaved by the devil? Persist in prayer and intercede on their behalf. Seek godly counsel from trustworthy Christians and don’t give up.
