Amazing Facts Youth Conference Begins May 19!

The second annual Amazing Facts Youth Conference (AFYC) will take place May 19–22, 2021, at the W.O.R.D. Center campus in Granite Bay, California. The event’s theme, “Trials to Triumph: The Power of the Story,” was chosen to challenge young men and women to share their personal testimony as an influential witness for Christ:

“As witnesses for Christ, we are to tell what we know, what we ourselves have seen and heard and felt. If we have been following Jesus step by step, we shall have something right to the point to tell concerning the way in which He has led us. We can tell how we have tested His promise, and found the promise true. We can bear witness to what we have known of the grace of Christ. This is the witness for which our Lord calls, and for want of which the world is perishing” (The Desire of Ages, p. 340).

Pastor Doug Batchelor, president of Amazing Facts International and one of the speakers at the event, shares, “I believe that God is raising up a magnetic host of youth and young adults whose very lives will stand as an irresistible witness of Jesus’ love in our dark and cold world. I’m praying that this conference will equip and release young men and women to share their personal experience with Christ and to lead others into a close relationship with God.”

Additional speakers for the conference include Tamar Boswell, Daniel Hudgens, Carlos Muñoz, Luccas Roddor, Dr. Phodidas Ndamyumugabe, and Justin and Charissa Torossian. Along with daily presentations, speakers will also participate in question-and-answer sessions.

Pastor Doug adds, “Few things are more powerful when sharing Christ with others than your personal testimony. At this conference, you will learn how the story of your spiritual journey can be used by the Holy Spirit to lead others to Jesus. This event will help build your faith while you are surrounded by other Bible-believing Christians who want to hasten the coming of our Lord!”

Each AFYC session will be streamed on AFTV, Facebook, YouTube, and the afyouth.com website.
