New Witnessing Opportunities

When the COVID-19 pandemic halted onsite training for the Amazing Facts Philippines, our leadership team prayed for big solutions. And God answered by leading us, with your help, to begin a new program called TOP3. It encouraged our Philippines Amazing Facts Center of Evangelism (PAFCOE) graduates to work wherever God called them.

TOP3 stands for Training, Outreach, and Preaching. The three-month program works in cooperation with local churches to equip members on how to witness, conduct outreach in the community, and hold a month-long evangelistic series.

Through God blessing your support, 26,600 Study Guides were distributed and used to help conduct 7,158 Bible studies. Plus, 163 local church members were trained to effectively share the love of Jesus Christ. Your generous gifts helped make possible 28 prophecy seminars, where 858 souls were baptized. Praise God! In addition to all of that, you have helped plant seven new congregations in previously unreached territories in the Philippines.

Although there was no full-course training for PAFCOE in 2022, your co-laboring gifts helped make possible the TOP3 program, which brought the short-course personal evangelism training directly to local churches, empowering more Bible workers, evangelists, and members to win more souls to Jesus and plant more churches for God’s kingdom.

And check out PAFCOE’s latest Changed Lives video. Learn how you helped Liezl and ten other members of her family be transformed by truth after they watched an Amazing Facts program during the pandemic. Click here to watch!

Thank you for being a fellow laborer with PAFCOE! Though the devil tries to close doors to evangelism in the Philippines, you are working with God to open bigger doors to spread more truth across this nation. Praise God for the bold outreach you are bringing to our friends in this beautiful island nation in Southeast Asia.

A Lifesaver

Growing up, Vilma faced numerous challenges and lived a stressful life. She never had the chance to meet her father and was separated from her siblings for many years. Despite the hardships, Vilma was determined to be a survivor. However, she felt depressed and abandoned, believing that a miserable life was her destiny.

One day, Vilma was invited to attend the “Revelations in Bible Prophecy” seminar conducted by our Amazing Facts team in the Philippines. She was curious to learn more about God’s Word, but she had no idea that this event would completely change her life. During the seminar, she learned that there is Someone who loves her deeply and wants the best for her. You helped Vilma find  peace and happiness after she chose to begin following God’s principles!

Vilma shares, “When I fully embraced the truths I learned at the seminar, my heart felt lighter. I was filled with happiness and hope! I surrendered all my burdens and sorrow to Jesus, and my mind was filled with positive thoughts.”

Vilma was baptized at the conclusion of the seminar and now lives according to God’s will. She is grateful for what she learned from the Bible. She explains, “Now, when faced with difficulties and hardships, I will turn to prayer and trust in Jesus’ promise of power.”

She thanks you for bringing Jesus, the Lifesaver, into her life. “From now on,” she says, “the Bible will be my guiding light until Jesus returns.”

Thank you for bringing people like Vilma out of a life of despair and into a life filled with God’s love. Praise the Lord!

From Despair to Deliverance

Ian grew up in a Christian church and once even led youth groups and activities. However, he lost his way and fell into misfortune. He lived with his girlfriend for seven years, and they had children together. Though they were not married, Ian did his best to be a good partner to his wife and father to his children. He had intended to marry his partner and even build a home for his family.

Just when Ian thought everything in his life was going well, his partner suddenly left him for another man, taking all his children with her. He was so devastated that he attempted suicide five times. He says, “I cried many times and asked God why I had to suffer like this. One midnight, I desperately pleaded with God, saying that if He would not intervene the next day, I would finally end my life. The next day, I was invited by my uncle to attend a Bible prophecy seminar.”

That seminar was conducted by our Amazing Facts Philippine team. That’s right—one of the very seminars your caring gifts made possible! When Ian attended, he realized that God was directly intervening in his life. He sensed the Lord calling Him back and knew that being there in the seminar was God’s will. He shares, “I learned many things, such as the validity of the Ten Commandments and the true Sabbath. I understood that truth can be painful—but it will set us free from sin.”

Ian accepted Jesus and was baptized at the end of the seminar. His family condemned him for his decision, but he is happy to live a new life for Jesus and to be a part of the family of God with you! He resigned from his job that required work on Sabbath and decided to become a missionary and youth leader.

Ian is grateful for Amazing Facts Philippines and for your loving gifts, which helped bring him back to Jesus. What a privilege to partner with God in this life-changing work!

Choosing God First

Avon felt called to be a missionary after giving her life to Christ. It brought her great joy to see others turn their hearts to Jesus. When she saw the great need for Bible workers, she decided to hold off her education in order to pursue a life of service in mission work. She explains, “I believe that if I would seek God first, He would address all my needs, especially for my schooling.”

When your caring support sent Amazing Facts Philippine  students to work in her local church, Avon attended their training events and joined in their outreach of knocking on doors and giving Bible studies. She especially enjoyed working with children, teaching them songs and Bible stories.

Eventually, Avon was assigned to work alone in a housing community in Cadiz in Negros Occidental. She was glad to be in a place where she could go door to door easily. Unfortunately, many of the people mistreated her, driving her away from their homes, cursing her, and telling her never to come back. She often went home afraid and crying. She admits, “I thought of giving up. I asked God to grant me wisdom on how to make my way to the hearts of the people.”

The Lord impressed her to gather the children in her neighborhood, share meals with them, and teach them about the Bible. After a time, members of the housing community began to appreciate Avon’s work. She soon befriended the parents, and they opened their homes to receive Bible studies. She says, “Eventually, the people who I least expected to be won for Jesus were the people who decided to get baptized. God is great!”

Avon has experienced other trials but continues to put her relationship with God first. Her family has not been supportive, but you have! Avon finds encouragement from the Lord through her connection with you through your compassionate gifts to the evangelism work of Amazing Facts Philippines. You have been instrumental in her spiritual growth—from attending a Bible seminar to being baptized, and finally, to becoming a Bible worker. She also challenges other Bible workers, saying, “By God’s grace, never surrender. Never think of yourself as a failure. Everything you put forth in Bible work is invested for eternity. Choose God first and always.”

Your earnest prayers for our Amazing Facts team in the Philippines are highly valued. The Lord is doing a powerful work among these beautiful islands.  Because of your faithfulness, many hearts are being prepared for the soon coming of Jesus. Thank you for supporting PAFCOE!
