Lessons from Elijah, Part 8: Double Portion

Scripture: 2 Kings 2:1-25
Date: 10/17/1998
This is the last in a series on the Old Testament prophet Elijah. After briefly discussing 2 Kings 1 and the stubbornness of Ahaziah, the sermon mostly looks at 2 Kings 2 and God taking Elijah up into heaven in a whirlwind. Like Elisha who would not leave Elijah, so we should have a deep commitment to follow Christ wherever He leads.
