AFCOE Returns This Summer—Apply Now!

With the completion of the new W.O.R.D. Center headquarters, the Amazing Facts Center of Evangelism is now preparing to host its comprehensive on-site evangelism training and equipping course this summer. Classes are scheduled to begin June 1 and conclude with an inspiring graduation ceremony on August 18.

So if you’re looking to become a better soul-winner—whether through personal outreach in your community, as a church Bible worker, or even as an international evangelist—AFCOE is designed for people like you. “Amazing Facts wants to train anyone and everyone who desires to become a soul-winner, whether through public evangelism or personal witnessing,” says Carlos Muñoz, AFCOE director. “When students finish our course, they leave as empowered, confident evangelists.”

Classes will be held at the beautiful W.O.R.D. Center in Granite Bay, California, and students will be housed at the nearby Weimar Institute, nestled in the peaceful foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. At the conclusion of the program, students travel to Panama for a two-week evangelistic effort during which they will preach their own prophecy series and win souls for Christ.

After all, “AFCOE is about learning while doing,” shares Pastor Doug Batchelor. “Students do real work in real communities and with real people, bringing real results for the Master.”

Unparalleled and Professional Training

At AFCOE, students will receive training in a range of Bible evangelism topics, studying with Pastor Doug and other Amazing Facts International teachers, each of whom is a proven and compassionate soul-winner. Guest speakers for this course include Ivor Myers, director of Power of the Lamb Ministries, and Scott Ritsema, founder of Belt of Truth Ministries.

Additionally, “the W.O.R.D. Center’s new church facility, new classrooms, sanctuary, and new equipment will expand our training to new heights and bring even more empowering resources to our students—all for God’s glory,” says Carlos.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg! Students will also learn to assess the emotional needs of contacts, answer difficult Bible questions, persuasively present the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation, and point people to God’s work in the heavenly sanctuary. As part of the Panama outreach, students will also learn how to coordinate an evangelistic series and even set up and grow their own ministry.

“When they graduate, each person will have a clear idea of his or her next step in service,” adds Carlos. “There are so many different ways to witness for Christ—whether by traditional media, door-to-door, Internet and social media ministry, prison ministry, Bible correspondence work, and more. As a multifaceted ministry, Amazing Facts is well acquainted with the many ways through which God can reach souls—and we want to help our students discover all that God offers them as workers.”

New, Leaner Course Teaches More to Reach More

Our new, leaner two-month program is aimed at training young and old from all walks of life. “Whether graduates serve overseas or in their local church,” explains Carlos, “they will be mission-minded and focused to not only present God’s truth but even train others in their local church to witness for Christ.”

AFCOE has graduated many well-known and beloved evangelists; including Eric Flickinger, associate speaker for It Is Written; Wes Peppers, associate ministerial director and evangelism coordinator for the Michigan Conference; as well as many others who have dedicated their lives to serving God.

Weimar is also offering 12 college credits to those who successfully complete the course. (For more information, please visit our website.)
