Bringing Liberty to the World From New York City!

An Amazing Fact: Did you know that the Statue of Liberty—a symbol of freedom for the world—was nearly lost at sea while being transported from France to New York in 1885? A French Navy ship was carrying hundreds of crates loaded with the dismantled sculpture when a violent storm struck. The crew begged the captain to offload the heavy “Lady Liberty” for fear it would sink their vessel. But, according to legend, the captain replied, “No, we will go down before we give up Liberty.”

Many in our world are being battered by the storms of life—and by their bondage to sin. They are longing for freedom from misery and a hopeless grave. You can bring true liberty to these captives when you get involved with Amazing Facts’ new global evangelism event, which I believe God is calling us to do to reach millions for Him in these last days.

The apostle Paul said, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage” (Galatians 5:1).

It is a passion of mine to preach this same freedom to the world’s most populous cities. After all, Jesus went about all the cities (Matthew 9:35). We must lift the torch of truth together, and what better place to proclaim His global message than from a global city like New York?

Twenty-five years ago, God opened the way for Amazing Facts to present Millennium of Prophecy in New York, a cutting-edge satellite outreach that has reached millions for Christ. Now, with technology even more powerful and far-reaching, God has miraculously opened the way for you and me to share the light of truth with the world from the heart of NYC!

Preaching to Multitudes

God’s evangelism map is the whole planet: “Every nation, tribe, tongue, and people” (Revelation 14:6). For every person in every location, there is a deep interest in heaven. We are called to find souls in the “highways and hedges” (Luke 14:23), not only in rural areas, but also in large cities and suburbs …

·        Jonah was called to preach to the great city of Nineveh—eight square miles with a population of at least 120,000, a huge number for that time.

·        Daniel lived in the heart of Babylon, a center of culture and power. Surrounded by idolatry and sin, this godly man stood as a bold witness.

·        The apostle Paul yearned to reach people living in the corrupt cities of Corinth, Ephesus, and Rome. He didn’t shun metropolitan centers as hopeless but brought the light of truth to them.

And Jesus wept for Jerusalem. He also foresaw the final destruction of the world’s populous, vice-ridden cities, and He longs to save as many souls as possible in them, not willing that any should perish.

It’s true that evangelistic work in cities can be extremely difficult. Urbanites are among the most secular. They are so focused on making money and seeking pleasure that they seem to have little interest in the gospel. But many are sincere seekers yearning to be free. Let’s not be willing for any of them to perish!

Why New York?

NYC is the ideal location for broadcasting a global evangelistic series—it is the center of global culture. Broadway and Wall Street are known the world over. It is home to the United Nations and has been nicknamed “the capital of the world.” The world still feels the ripples caused by what happened in NYC on September 11, 2001.

What’s more, as many as 800 languages are spoken in New York. It reminds me of when the Holy Spirit was poured out on Pentecost. NYC is multicultural, hosting millions of people with deep connections to other parts of the world, including the highest concentration of Jews outside of Israel.

When you help save NYC, you help save the world!

Live Evangelistic Meetings Change Lives

Did you know that the Millennium of Prophecy is still impacting people the world over 25 years later?

Kathy in Australia wrote how her “solid-as-a-rock Catholic” neighbor watched it and is now sharing “what she has learned at her prayer group.” And Celine from Tennessee learned so much that she told her family in Canada about it. They then told their friends to watch it. She says, “The seed of God’s Word has been scattered far and wide!”

God still wants this ministry to do live evangelism!

That’s why Amazing Facts is now urgently preparing for Prophecy Odyssey for the fall of 2024 at the Manhattan Center in New York. Careful plans are being laid to conduct outreach training to reach the people of New York. This 18-part evangelistic series begins September 20, 2024. Mark your calendar!

Local church and conference leaders are already working with us. Even the church’s global headquarters is getting involved. Prophecy Odyssey will be broadcast globally in multiple languages through the internet—as well as on Hope Channel, 3ABN, and AFTV. Churches and small groups across the planet will be able to host these meetings and invite their neighbors to join them.

This will be the most audacious project we’ve taken on in 20 years. So I don’t think it will surprise you that Prophecy Odyssey will require a sizeable budget—about $3 million. But just as it was with our seminar in New York 25 years ago, I believe the impact of this outreach will be phenomenal, well worth every dollar spent in reaching and saving the lost.

So will you please ask God what He would have you give to help share His last-day message? Some friends who wholeheartedly believe in this opportunity have committed $1 million in matching funds. That means every dollar you give will make twice the eternal difference. Whatever you can give, I’m certain that God will say, “Well done, good and faithful servant!”

Linda, a prisoner in a Midwest penitentiary, recently wrote me to say that she watched an Amazing Facts evangelistic series with a group of inmates. “They were all unbelievers and cried their eyes out. Amazing Facts has truly opened their eyes.” Will you help open more eyes in cities around the world to the true freedom that Christ offers?
