Verse of the Day: New at AmazingFacts.org

Have you ever skipped a meal? Maybe your stomach growled in protest as you anticipated the next time you could eat. What would it be like to miss eating for a couple days—or a week?

There’s one meal you should never skip—God’s Word! Jesus taught us to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread” (Matthew 6:11). While there might be times to fast from physical food, reading the Bible is something we should make a daily priority.

Amazing Facts introduces Verse of the Day, an online resource that offers a way for you to feast on God’s Word every single day. Not only will you find a different Bible verse each day, there is also a unique but simple tool to help you memorize the daily passage.

We all need the power and light from the Scriptures to help us to be strong in the Lord and know the truth. David wrote, “Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You” (Psalm 119:11). What better way to hide God’s Word in your mind and heart than to memorize and carry a Bible verse with you all day long?

The new feature also provides Amazing Facts resources connected to the verse, whether it is a Bible study, a sermon by Pastor Doug, a free booklet, or other media.

You don’t even need to visit the web page each day; you can have the Verse of the Day sent to your inbox! Check out Verse of the Day here. Don’t ever miss a spiritual meal again!
