An Amazing Fact: Tsunamis are some of the most powerful and destructive natural forces on earth. They can strike any ocean coast at any moment, and we can’t predict when or where the next one will hit. One of the deadliest tsunamis in recent years in Sumatra, Indonesia, killed about 228,000 people. The safest thing to do when you hear a tsunami warning is to immediately flee to higher ground!
We are living in Earth’s last days. Deadly events will soon rock our planet as God’s judgment against sin begins to break upon our world. Now is the time to flee to higher ground—the solid rock of Bible truth (Matthew 7:24, 25).
“I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people” (Revelation 14:6).
The three angels’ messages of Revelation 14 actually represent our responsibility and opportunity to share Christ’s message of warning to the world before He returns.
Yet, most of Earth’s population still hasn’t heard this message. Like the unsuspecting victims who blissfully play on the beach while tsunami sirens blare, they would be swept away to eternal death.
God is calling us to loudly proclaim the three angels’ messages now so that unsuspecting billions will hear them around the globe!
And today, through Cary’s testimony, I want to tell you about how you can be part of this vital mission ...
A Broken Life
While Cary attended a Sabbath-keeping church during his childhood, wave after wave of traumatic experiences swept him away from the faith. After his parents divorced, his mother was murdered by her boyfriend, and his father went to jail.
Yet God watched over him. Two church families volunteered to foster Cary and his siblings. They were “awesome role models,” Cary writes. Nevertheless, his trauma ran deep, and he began using alcohol to numb his pain. By his senior year in high school, Cary spent every weekend drunk.
Cary eventually started his own family, and he even returned to church at the urging of his father. But worldly habits are hard to break, and he slipped back into drinking and chewing tobacco.
Hard Questions
During a camping trip, Cary’s friend and coworker, Dan, noticed that Cary would say a prayer before each meal. That spurred Dan to talk about spiritual matters with Cary, who pointed out the contradictions between Dan’s beliefs and what the Bible says.
Dan began asking deeper questions, so Cary asked, “Would you like to study the Bible together?” Dan agreed, and the two began watching Revelation Now—the evangelistic prophecy series that you generously helped me present in 2020.
While Dan was amazed at the new Bible truths, something also happened within Cary.
During one of my messages—a call to care for our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit—Cary heard God’s Spirit urge: “Don’t put it off any longer. You need to make your decision today.”
Cary knew that a tsunami was coming for him if he didn’t get off the devil’s beach. So, at long last, he called on his two teenage daughters. “I need your help,” he told them. Together, they hauled all the alcohol in the house out to the backyard.
“Girls, I don’t want to be a stumbling stone for you.” Cary wept as they poured out every container of alcohol and discarded all the chewing tobacco.
By God’s grace, Cary hasn’t had any tobacco or alcohol since! Through your spirit of giving, he was able to respond to the call to flee to higher ground before it was too late.
A Momentous Sharing Magazine
The three angels’ messages are not just a last-minute warning—they are messages of hope through the everlasting gospel, to worship the Creator God, to come out of Babylon, and to join God’s remnant family of believers.
